When I was teaching at Penn State, I used to take my students in my Public Speaking course to watch a street preacher named Gary Cattell, otherwise known as the "Willard Preacher," because of his constant presence in front of Willard Hall (I even managed to publish an article about this teaching strategy in the journal Explorations in Media Ecology, which you can read here).
